HELP ME WRITE A SONG!

To my fans who speak different languages around the world:

I am attempting to write a little song in many languages and i need your help. The song is about communication and love... of course!

If you're willing, please send back to me the following phrases translated, along with where you're from. If you speak a "picture" language, like Japanese, it would be great if you could write the phonetic version as well as the picture version. (and if you have any tips of pronunciation, that would help me too!!)

1. CAN YOU HEAR ME?

2. HOLD ME

3. TOUCH ME

4. SPEAK TO ME

5. I LOVE YOU

Thanks! I love you guys...

xxLenka.

Hello,

I'm a sign language interpreter (ASL/English/Spanish) and I was thinking, if you make a music video for this song, you can add manual languages in addition to spoken langages. I can help you develop or answer questions of the ASL version if you are interested.

You can use this website for the vocabulary: http://www.aslpro.com/cgi-bin/aslpro/aslpro.cgi

Please, if you DO use ASL, please remember to use correct ASL grammar and not English grammar. If you sign it using English grammar it would kinda kill it...

You can contact me if u have any Qs.

Dear Lenka,
Hope these things below would gonna help you,
I'm going to tell you What do those sentence mean, in Vietnamese.

Firstly is "Can you hear me?", it means "Bạn nghe tôi không?"( This sentence normally be used in the songs, but If Lenka want a sentence - Which be used in a more formal situation - Lenka could say "Các bạn có nghe tôi không?", but I'd prefer the shorter one, It's more common). About the pronunciation, We'll learn how to say each word in the fist sentence. The word "Bạn", lenka could say like this: the letter "B" sound like the same letter in the word "Bad"( it means not good, in your mother tongue), and the group of letter "ạn", Lenka could pronounce like the group of letter "an" in the word "fan"( the ardent follower and admirer) but please depress your voice; finally, Just combine those two pronounciation.

Ah, Excuse me please, Lenka, I just can help you to that level, I have to leave now, But hope that you will talk to me( this is my desired) at tui_nhattien1996( Yahoo!ID ), then we'll talk through the microphone, that'd be better, I though so!

Happy new year!

Dear Lenka,
I am a senior high school student in Beijing China.I have been studyed English for nearly ten years, but I can't speak or write it very well.So if there are many spelling mistakes in this letter, please forgive me.
I like Lenka and I think her songs are fair-sounding and interesting. In the early time this evening,I found Lenka's cyberspace and I read the Blog named"Help me write a song".I think this is an opporunity for me to help my favorite singer,so i wrote this letter.

The sentence "Can you hear me" in Chinese,it writes as"你能听到我的呼唤吗".It reads"Ni neng ting dao wo de hu huan ma".But we have accent in every words, what's unfortunatly is that I cannot show you how the accent reads.
The words"Hold me"in Chinese,it writes as"留住我".It reads"Liu zhu wo"
The words"Touch me"writes as"触碰我".It reads"Chu peng wo"
The sentence"I love you"writes as"我爱你",reads as"Wo ai ni"

In fact, there is a lot different between English and Chinese, though we lable Chinese words by using English letters. We called the letters which are used to lable Chinese words as"Pin yin".The pronunciations between English letters and "Pinyin"are similar but not the same.

I hope this letter will help Lenka in a way.I will always love you!
Yours
The mouse in the schoolbag

What neitiMaple wrote was correct, but I have an alternative to "hold me" that maybe is better to use in a song. (Or my mum thought it would sound better..). And maybe it's easier to say, without the tricky little "ä" XD

I think that this is the best to say it in polish:

Can you hear me?
Słyszysz mnie? ("ł" like "w" in word "wall", "sz" like "sh" in for example "she").

Hold me
Przytul mnie ("rz" like "sh", "u" like "oo" or "ou" in "you")

Touch me
Dotknij mnie ("j" like "y" in... "yeti" xd, You can't sing "kn" like in word "know", because we hear there "k", it's important, because if you sing "dotnij" it means other word, something like english "cut")

Speak to me
Mów do mnie ("ó" it is point that we call "closed u". It sound like "oo").

I love you
Kocham Cię ("ch" like "h", "ę" like... it's difficult to explain, but it will good if You sing this like "e" and "ci"- it is so difficult to explain that I don't know how to do it. It sounds a little like "c" (tse) and a little like "ch" in word "cheese". It is borderline these two sounds).

P.S. Marfeff, myślę, że "Czy ty mnie (w ogóle) słuchasz?" nie jest odpowiednie w tym przypadku, bo mówimy tak raczej jak ktoś nas lekceważy.

"Czy ty mnie (w ogóle) słuchasz?" - we say like that if we are angry because someone doesn't listen to us. I think that better will be "Słyszysz mnie?" or "Czy mnie słyszysz" ("cz" like "ch").

1. Kuuletko minut?
2. Pidä minusta kiinni.
3. Kosketa minua.
4. Puhu minulle.
5. Minä rakastan sinua.
