Hey I'm a jazz musician from New Orleans, and I happened on Lenka's "The Show" on VH1 the other day, and I was stunned by the elegance of the straightforward harmonic progressions coupled with the subtlety and sensitivity of Lenka's vocal performance. I can't even remember the last time I watched VH1 before this, and I saw the whole video before checking out the website later on....

I was disappointed that nothing's coming up in the south, and I think a show in New Orleans would really be great. Maybe even looking forward to a future collaboration with some jazz musicians? I'd love to hear Herbie Hancock perform with her.... (check out some of his recent collaborations with popular artists)
