HELP ME WRITE A SONG!

To my fans who speak different languages around the world:

I am attempting to write a little song in many languages and i need your help. The song is about communication and love... of course!

If you're willing, please send back to me the following phrases translated, along with where you're from. If you speak a "picture" language, like Japanese, it would be great if you could write the phonetic version as well as the picture version. (and if you have any tips of pronunciation, that would help me too!!)

1. CAN YOU HEAR ME?

2. HOLD ME

3. TOUCH ME

4. SPEAK TO ME

5. I LOVE YOU

Thanks! I love you guys...

1. CAN YOU HEAR ME?
"bolehkah kamu dengar saya?"

2. HOLD ME
"peganglah saya"...if this hold mean hug, then it will be "peluklah saya"

3. TOUCH ME
"sentuh saya"

4. SPEAK TO ME
"bercakaplah dengan saya"

5. I LOVE YOU
"saya sayang kamu"

Hi Lenka,

I'm Joel Lee from Malaysia (like both of them on top).

there are basically 4 tones for mandarin words. I have included a simple guide in a file called 4 tones (which you will get a link to download at the end of this)

*This link also teaches you how to pronounce some of the things i shown below.
http://mandarin.about.com/od/pronunciation/l/blsounds.htm

1. Can you hear me?
你听见我吗?
(ni3 ting1 jian4 wo3 ma1)

2. Hold me
In mandarin, the closest equivalent would me "hug me" or "hug me tightly". A literal hold me would be almost like "grab me" or something.
抱紧我
(bao4 jin2 wo3)

3.Touch me
There are few ways to translate it.
- 触摸我 - this sounds a little scientific. The first chinese word is basically touch, but it sometimes is used in contexts like "touch" in the 5 senses.
(chu4 mo1 wo3) - "chu" as in choose, or "ha choo" the sneezing sound. mo is pronounced as muo (think of m-war without the "r" ,instead of mo such as "more")

- 摸我 - this is a direct translation. If a girl tells her friends that a guy "摸我", it means he sort of molested her. Imagine saying the same thing in english "He touched me"
(mo1 wo3)

- 动我 - the direct translation is "move me". the first word can mean "touch" or "move"
(dong4 wo3) - dong : the "d" is not pronounced the same way as "d" in donkey. It is pronounced halfway between "d" and "t". Refer *

4. Speak to me
告诉我 - means "tell me" more than speak to me.
(gao4 su4 wo3): likewise, "g" is pronounced somewhere between "g" and "k" refer *

对我说 - a direct word for word translation is " direct", "me", "speech". basically means "tell me". But not as much as the previous one. You can also translate it as "speak to me" as a request from the 1st person
(dui4 wo3 shuo1) shuo pronounced as sh-war without the "r"(war as in military war)

5. I love you
我爱你 - this is the most common and accurate translation
(wo3 ai4 ni3)

我好爱你 - the addition of the second word implies very/really, a little bit of both words. It sounds better than just "very" since "I love you very much" doesn't exactly sound as romantic/nice.
(wo2 hao3 ai4 ni3)

they are basically 2 .wav files. Do let me know if you want help with pronouncing it. or if you want to know about other mandarin words. (yes, i know that people do say that mandarin is one of the most difficult language to learn, and it it doesn't exactly sound very sexy - but its good : ) )
