Hi everyone Smiling I'm new here too... and loving Lenka a lot!
I just thought it'd be nice to have one thread going for all new fans to gather here!

A little bit about me: I'm currently living in Hong Kong and finishing off my last year of high school. I love all sorts of music ranging from alternative to hip hop to pop to electro. I'm hoping to study art & design in uni - and music is definitely one of my inspirations for my art!! <3

Hmm. I'm Petra, 14 years old (Tiny little girl, they tell me :/). I live in Finland. I started listening to Lenka because my mom told me about her. She had heard trouble is a friend in a shop, and then she asked them who the singer was, because she thought that because I sing too, maybe I could sing her songs. And thanks to my mom, I sang "The show" at a singers' evening last Tuesday and enjoyed it a lot!

Lenka is my "go to" CD. If I'm having a bad day or am stuck driving in traffic, I pop in "The Show" and my mood lifts instantly. I was at a Korean Karaoke bar last month and "The Show" was one of the songs available - I couldn't believe it!

I'm almost 40 years old and still love Lenka. I live in Burnaby, British Columbia. That's the province on the westcoast of Canada. Watch for us during the 2010 Winter Olympics starting in February! Then the whole world will know where Burnaby is located!
